The Woburn Zoning Board of Appeals is utilizing the Governor’s Emergency Executive Order which suspends certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law under current conditions.

 

The following is the Notice of Meeting and, at the time of posting, a listing of topics that the Chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the Meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 6 p.m. The order of the matters may be amended at the meeting.

 

  1. Nancy Hoey and William Hoey, 169A Washington Circle, Woburn, MA 01801, Petitioners and Landowners, seeking a Variance from Section 6.1 of the 1985 Woburn Zoning Ordinances, as amended, for a reduction in the side yard setback requirement from 12 feet to 3.4 feet to install a deck to a single-family home at 169A Washington Circle, Woburn, MA

 

  1. Steven M. Sgroi, 21 Vernon Street, Woburn, MA 01801, Petitioner and Landowner, seeking a Special Permit from Section 7.3 of the 1985 Woburn Zoning Ordinances, as amended, for a reduction in the side yard setback requirement from 12 feet to 9.4 feet to allow for the construction of a 2-story addition to a single-family home at 21 Vernon Street, Woburn, MA

 

  1. Alan Simpson and Janet Simpson, P.O. Box 4, Lexington, MA, 02420, Petitioners and Landowners, seeking a Special Permit from Section 7.3 of the 1985 Woburn Zoning Ordinances, as amended, to raze and replace a single-family home at 6 Foley Road, Woburn, MA

 

4. Daniel E. Murray, Trustee of Sunshine Realty Trust, 27 Cambridge St.,  Burlington, MA 01803, Petitioner, and Martha and Irene Dorner, 16 Summer St., Woburn, MA, Landowners, seeking a Special Permit from Section 7.3 and a Variance from Section 6.1 of the 1985 Woburn Zoning Ordinances, as amended, to raze and replace a single-family home, and a reduction of the rear yard setback requirement from 30 feet  to 29.3 feet at 16 Summer St., Woburn, MA

 

  1. Discussion of incorporation of standard conditions into meeting minutes
