Mayor, Historical Society, Veterans Officer, Seek Photos of KIA Veterans for Ceremonial Banners

Mayor Scott Galvin is pleased to announce he is working with Kathy Lucero of the Woburn Historical Society and in conjunction with Veterans Service Officer Larry Guiseppe to obtain photographs of Woburn’s U.S. Service Men and Women killed in action—from World War I through present day wars and conflicts.

The photographs would be used to create banners to be placed on display as part of this year’s Veterans Day ceremonies, and again during Memorial Day 2019 ceremonies. Please either mail or drop off photos, with names, service information, a contact name and number, and return address to either Mayor Scott Galvin’s Office, City Hall, 10 Common Street, or to the Veterans Office, 144 School Street.  Deadline is September 24, 2018.
