Payment Options

There are four methods to pay your City of Woburn tax bill: Online, by Phone, by Mail or by Visiting the Treasurer./Collector’s office at City Hall. 

ONLINE: The City of Woburn in partnership with Invoice Cloud accepts payments of city taxes and fees online. There are two acceptable methods of online payment:

  • A electronic check (ACH/EFT) payment option fee of $0.40 will be charged for each shopping cart
  • A credit card payment that includes a minimum convenience fee of $1.95 or 2.95%

To pay your current fiscal year Real Estate, Personal Property, Motor Vehicle tax, or Water / Sewer bill using the step-by-step online bill pay process (Please Note: Water and Sewer bills are currently overdue and cannot be paid online at this time).

Excise Taxes

All Motor Vehicle Excise tax bills must be paid in full, including interest and penalties when applicable.

Motor Vehicle Excise tax bills that are on “warrant” status must be paid at/to our Deputy Tax Collector service:

Water/Sewer Bills:

Effective July 1, 2015, all overdue water/sewer bills will incur interest charges of 14% and a demand fee of $10.00 will be issued for each bill.
