By Order of the City Council, which was approved by the Mayor, an ad hoc committee was established on June 21, 2012 to be known as the Ad Hoc Polling Place Review Committee. The committee was directed to review the current election polling locations in the city, to study the feasibility of consolidating and/or relocating polling places within the city to achieve cost savings, and to make recommendations for any necessary improvements.
